About HOPE
The Harnessing Opportunity through Parenting and Education (HOPE) programme focuses on improving early childhood development in rural China. It combines advocacy, training, and infrastructure development, supported by close monitoring through early childhood education and development (ECED) Centres.
HOPE targets children aged 0-3 living in rural and urban poor communities. This age group is a critical period for the development of cognitive, language, emotional, and social skills. By supporting both young children and their caregivers, Tanoto Foundation is making a strategic investment in early childhood development in China, ensuring children receive the support they need during this key developmental window.
