About SIGAP
Strengthening Indonesia’s Early Generation by Accelerating Potential (SIGAP) is a Tanoto Foundation initiative focused on preparing Indonesia’s future generations by ensuring that all children are developmentally on track and ready for school.
By collaborating with parents, teachers, local governments, and local NGOs on parenting as well as early stimulation and learning, SIGAP works to ensure that children in Indonesia can reach their full potential.
Key Beneficiaries
Children (0-6 years old), parents or caregivers, child development workers and child development teachers
SIGAP operates through two key programs:

Our Goals
Improvement of the quality of caregiving
Improvement of access & quality of early childhood development and education services
SIGAP acts as the catalyst for partnerships at the national, sub-national and community level. We prioritize long-term solutions, so positive impact can be sustained long after initial intervention.
To achieve this, we prioritize activities that build awareness and strengthen the capabilities of governments, frontline workers, and local communities. Through its focus on parenting and early learning, SIGAP is committed to laying the foundation for sustainable and meaningful development in Indonesia.
