Improving Education Quality of Islamic Schools

In collaboration with the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Tanoto Foundation, an independent family philanthropy organisation founded by Sukanto Tanoto and Tinah Bingei Tanoto in 1981, seeks to improve education in schools under the authority of the MoRA, namely Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Islamic elementary school) and Madrasah Tsanawiyah (Islamic secondary school).  Through PINTAR program, Tanoto Foundation intends to enhance education ecosystems through capacity building in school management and leadership, teacher enhancement, parental education and community participation.
